I've been dealing with Incontinence problems for the majority of my life.

Now when you think incontinence, you think well you obviously don't have trouble urinating if you can't hold it in. Well that may be true, but my problem is now changing into something else. Usually my bladder will empty on it's own without me even knowing it's full, but here is where the game is changing.

My bladder as of recently has been practically overfilling, which results in me having a horrendously painful spasm.

The odd part is, even with the intense spasm it doesn't fully empty. I'll get a short spurt of urine, just enough to wet down the front of the diapers I wear. This has led to me having a couple UTI's. My Urologist ran a bunch of tests, prescribed some medication (Which did nothing), and after that said he didn't know what could be the cause. His solution being self-catheterization to fully drain it. Now I've had enough catheters placed in me for urological tests, and surgeries to last a lifetime. They are extremely painful, and I told him I did not want to go that route.

Before my appointment with him I had found and read about Sphincterotomy. Which is where (in this case) the external urinary spinchter is severed with a precision laser instrument. Allowing to bladder to empty with it's natural reflex. I asked him about this and he spoke against it, saying it would cause pernament incontinence. Something I would not want at my age (Even though I already had been dealing with that for several years). My immediate responce was "I'm fine with that, I've only been dealing with full on incontinence for many years now. I'd much rather continue living the rest of my life comfortably in diapers, than doubled over in pain squirting out urine" 

He wasn't very thrilled at my responce, at which point he gave me different medication (doesn't work either) said we'd have a follow up in 30 days and go from there. 

I feel like this is something I really wan't to follow through with, does anyone here have any experience with one of these operations? The only downside that I know of is that the operation would make me infertile, but I can always have some of my "Baby Serum" stored in a "Bank" for a later date.
