A friend in need is a friend indeed. So much easier if you have a buddy with the same
[very, very common] health problem. You can fight your corner together - united.
We can laugh at ourselves a bit, so the world laughs with us. It's only a little salty water!

Hey, you are very lucky that you have found friends in college with same health issues. It may be pretty common, but really not that common and you require a fair amount of luck to find buddies in college with same problem. I wasn't that lucky and greengold you should also focus on not being so lucky. Well, it would be great if you were, but you have to prepare yourself for the worst, always. In my opinion, you shouldn't care about it. Being a bedwetter isn't such a bad thing after all, right? I've grown pretty used to after several depression periods and I have just stopped caring about what others say. I live my own life and something that I have no impact at shouldn't concern me at all. We are on the same boat. I wet heavily at night and I have been diapered every single night since I was born. I've also been having occasional leaks in the daytime. I usually wear incontinence pads. When I need to go, I won't wet myself if I can find a bathroom in the next 15 minutes. I'll start college in September. My older sister (she is a nurse) uses to diaper me when she can (my diaper fits snugger when she does). She is a little worried about this : what will happen if I need to go in the middle of a lecture? So, she wants me to wear diapers 24/7. She said it would be safer and more confortable. She is trying to convince me that it's the most dignifying solution. Do you agree?
Is it better to put on a thick diaper with a booster (to be safe for the whole day) or to put on thinner diapers and planning changes during lunch breaks?

Does anybody have any tips or advice with how to hide my diapers? I'm really worried about this.

Most professors don't mind if you get up in the middle of a lecture to use the restroom although I think you might want to tell them about your issue before you start college I would stick to pads unless you start having problems then go to a pull-up style diaper before going to a tape on one as welladmittedly I'm still somewhat new to this

I'm sensitive about disturbing people. Due to my sensitive bladder, I might have to use the restroom 2 or 3 times during a lecture. My sister (my second mom) also points that It might be pretty hard to focus on the lecture if I am always thinking about getting to the toilet. So wearing diapers sounds better, both for me and my fellows.
I don't like pull-up style diapers, they are more likely to leak. If you have to change your diaper standing, it's also easier with tape on style diapers.

The pull-up style briefs especially the more absorbent kind like an Abena typically won't leak you might need to change more frequently but still that way you can use the toilet when you do make it I'm planning on using pull ups because I usually can make it to a toilet but in case I don't I will wear until I get handle on all of this

Hey guys, I'm a university student right now and dealing with incontinence in school is not that bad. You get used to it. I would strongly recommend a taped diaper because you have less risk of leaks and you don't have to worry about it. As long as you wear loose and baggy clothing then nobody will notice. Just focus on studying a lot and having a good time.

I would use a taped diaper but the fact that usually I can make it to the toilet means it is a lot more convienent for me to use a pull up for the few times I am unable to make it

@bobthebuilder, It helped in my case, I'd say try a thinner diaper like depend but put a booster pad in it like a walmart overnight pad. That gets me about 5 hours sometimes.
