Have you heard of depends. They have them for men and women. Their just like underwear and are comfortable and come in sizes. Try them. They don’t show under clothing and come in colours.

i could use something like depends, the problem is im a heavy wetter and would end up useing more then i would the thicker tab ones, the issue is if i want to at the end of the 4 day trip haul a bag with like 6 or 8 soaked diapers in it 3 miles or try to use cloth and wash and dry them at camp and have the whole campsite see them. With having a few days before you go you could try to collect 8 of your wet diapers this week and put them in a bag too see if it is something you could manage ok on the hike out .

Maybe in a waterproof bag and in their own pack carrying them out wouldn't be too bad.

If your in an area where campfires are permitted would burning the diapers be an option?

The hanging diapers on the line to try option does not sound like it would be too good unless your comfortable with the rest of the campground seeing them.

Thats a good idea, thanks and i have no idea who well and if a wet diaper would burn or what that would smell like so lets avoid that lol. I was not to crazy about the diaper line plan but i will if i have to, thats why i made this thread to get ideas :) Im not going to miss a fun trip due to my bladder issues

I'm glad I came across this. I've been wanting to go backpacking with my fiancée and we're tentatively planning on trying it this year. I haven't done it since before I became incontinent, so I've never had this problem until now. I'm thinking disposables are pretty much out of the question since they'll take up more space both ways. As for washing and drying cloth diapers, what about hanging an extra ridgeline above your tent, draping the diapers over, and draping a towel over them? If you need extra thickness and absorbency (like me), maybe try layering several thinner layers under a separate waterproof cover to help everything dry faster. That's probably what I'll end up doing, but I'll probably take a couple of my overnight disposables with just in case. Let us know what you end up doing and how it works for you.

Have you considered reducing the leakage with an external incontinence device? There are several out there that are not ideal, but could help you get by for the trip. Thereafter, you should consider a device that I have written about on this site that is not quite ready for production but is better than any on the market. So just got back from my trip and figured I would post an update because a few of you guys were interested in the results of the trip. I ended up taking cloth diapers and plastic pants with me as my go to option and packed a few disposables as back up which I did not need to use. The cloth diapers got alot of use though lol. I ended up washing them in the river near the camp site and hanging them on a sideline to dry. At first I tried to hide it but it became difficult to do and affected the drying so I gave up. So I just had a sideline full of diapers and plastic pants drying in the open at the primitive camp ground lol. I got a few looks at it, but no one said anything and the protection worked out great which is what matters the most to me. I did not have to carry a bunch of disposables back to the car, It was a fantastic trip and I would love to do it again. Feel free to ask any questions about the trip if your curious :)
