Pubic hair for 24/7 incontinent

Hey all.


I'm a 15 year old girl who has severe bladder issues. I'm daytime incontinent, not 100% but don't have total control of my bladder and I'm 100% night time incontinent, I wet my bed regularly. 


Well, with those problems I wear pull ups during the day now and a tape on diaper at night. 


So..this is kinda personal and TMI but I'm looking for advice. Since it looks like my problems will be with me all my life :( it was brought up to me by my mother that I should maybe think about permanently removing my pubic hair. I currently shave and that's been done since I started growing pubic hair. At first, not my choice (mom cut off my first hairs then shaved me twice a week) now I do it myself as I do prefer bare skin since I'm wearing fulltime protection and wiping A LOT, lol. 


My mother has told me about laser hair removal and they can do it in the whole area between my legs. Doing this after a few times will stop my hair from growing back permanently. 


I'm not sure how I feel about this, its a big decision for me!! My mom recommends I do it. I honestly hate shaving, hate the itching and hate doing it every couple of days.


Has anyone else, girls especially done the laser thing?

Hey I’m not a girl but do have to wear a full brief all the time and I would have it done if I were you I shave myself and it would be nice not to have to worry about doing it

My Mom has brought that up to and I've jumped at that chance. I think it'd be really useful! (TMI):

As the wife of 'wetr', I think that western society places too much emphasis on being completely hair free in places that naturally grow hair as an adult. There is nothing 'unclean' about pubic hair if you keep yourself clean as normal. I definitely do not suggest shaving though, as nicks can get infected very easily and it is irritating to the skin anyhow. Why not just trim very closely with a small pair of scissors and a mirror? Laser costs a lot, and is not as effective on all skin colours due to differing melatonin content.
Just so you know, I'm not a 'back to naturist' hairy beast either, I shave my armpits and legs but only trim my bikini area as noted. Hubby trims only as necessary, but of course due to differing anatomy doesn't quite have the same issues a woman might.

I would describe laser hair removal in one word... OUCH. Laser is very painful. It also irritates the skin. So use a lot of aloe and vitamin E cream after your treatments. Urine would irritate the skin after treatment even more, so use creams like Desitin and powders from cornstarch.

i shave myself as it more cleaner and stops me from smelling as i wear diapers 24/7

I still shave mine every 3 or 4 days. Its a pain but like not having hair there but I'm afraid of doing the laser removal.

I had laser hair removal done a few years ago. I wear diapers 24/7 and found out the odor being trapped in my pubic hair was pretty strong. I shaved it off once and was amazed at how much of the pee smell was reduced. Permanently removing it removed most of the pee smell and I can change my diaper and not even have to clean up between changes.
Major improvement and highly recommend for incontinence.
Btw the laser removal took many visits to get the where I wanted it to be. Being a guy it was embarrassing the first time but very easy after that.

Me wear diapers 24/7 and always shave down there. Me was told it's better for odor control. Seems to me it helps, and feels better. Before started, the hair always seemed stiff and strange feeling and itchy, so much better shaved.

Not a bad idea.. I just shave .. But im a man not a girl.. And it will smell and hard to wash out .. That's why I shave it off

I usually just trim my area and use lotions and creams.

I've been diaper dependent for several yrs if you can remove your hair do so it makes things a lot better.

I prefer to trim my hair because shaving down there causes itchiness and ingrown hairs.
