Iam annoyed at myself . why can't i just get a minimum wage retail job . the reason is i hate retail and i never want to do it again . it is so boring . i cant stand sales at the moment but i feel like i have no other option but so far nothing has ever worked out for me in sales . i am frustrated i want to get back to work but i don't know how and with whom . i feel ike i can't work anymore because working has been so dissapointing . but at the same time i am so sick of being unemployed . i want more out of life than a minimum wage job with no progression . i just hope it helps to write this . i am setting up an support group to help people like myself it should be good

Faithluck, I understand exactly what you're going through. I'm kinda in that same situation. I have a degree in Journalism, currently not using my degree, and feeling like it's a struggle just to get ANY kind of employment out here. In a lot of cases, even older unemployed people are more confused and angry that people my age (Millenial) and they have MA's, doctorates, worked in corporate America for 20+ years and they're unemployed. This is the tough reality, but all hope isn't lost. What is it that you're TRULY passionate about doing?

thanks for your message . i want to do music . but finding a job in the industry at the moment is a bit tough so i have to find a job to support myself in the mean time . but i hope i can make it some day . i am a bit picky the idea of doing something in retail considering even though it it is so crap considering i have had other more satisfying jobs . i just want to get out of poverty

You're welcome! I wouldn't even say that you're in poverty, because poverty is more of a perpetual mindset versus being broke which is temporary. As long as you're using the resources around you as a means to what you're really passionate about then you should be fine. But I beg you, PLEASE don't give up on your passions as a musician. I often as myself what is life without having a dream? And the quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself every day. You WILL right your ship if you truly believe you can.
