tragic lost opportunity!

I did a dog grooming course
And only just finished it
I ended up having a psychotic
Traumatic Panic attack after
Getting scared of someone there
And the owner was so nice and
Said I could have worked there..

But the opportunity is ruined

My ex used to do dog grooming. He worked for a clinic at times, but otherwise went to people's houses to groom their dogs. He had a basic website and put up ads around the neighborhood and also told everyone he knew that he was offering those services.

It took some time to build up a client base, but as time went by, many people would recommend him to friends. Vet clinics here usually pay a flat rate per shift and he had to deal with any dogs that came in. Once he had a lot of private clients, he was doing better than working for a clinic.

It tends to be kind of cyclical, though. There is more demand in the warm months of a year and it kind of falls off in winter.
