I feel like my situation is a common one. I just graduated from a four year college and only did work study for a job during those four years. Now I'm trying to find a job, where all the experience I have, is working in the college's cafeteria. I keep hearing that since I have a degree, I'll get a job but no one is even bothering to give me an interview. I know I just graduated but I'm getting scared and stressed. I feel like no matter how many places I apply to, no one is going to hire me. It also is difficult because I don't have a drivers license, so my options are also limited.

Why don't you have a DL? Some jobs, mine in particular, only hire people with DL's. Don't know what your major is or what you want to do: I just wanted to advise you to take anything. Get in on the ground floor. That's what I had to do. I had to put aside my pride, how much my education cost, what a particular job was paying, etc. and think about what I wanted to do in the future. That lead me to accept what was available and go from there.....Since that time, I've had 3 promotions 2 were in a shirt period of time. If you're good at what you do, you'll get noticed. That's what I hate about the American Education System. It pressurises Parents to put their kids into College when a Vocational route would suit them better. No wonder America is so reliant on Immigrants for employment. (and a reason why I would not want to live in America)

I wish they would stop demonising homeschoolers. Schools don't teach proper skills for work. It's simply to mass produce Doctors and Lawyers. Schools has become Conveyor Belts rather than Academic Institutions.
