I recently quit job

I have gone through the worst year of my life. I suffer from OCD, depression and anxiety. I went thorough a very bad breakup It really affected my life the last 6 months. My job was a high stressful sales job. It was killing me to wake up every day sick and tired from not sleeping from the ruminating thoughts. Last week I put my two weeks notice in. I couldn't take the pressure. My mental health wasn't going to get any better sticking with this job Friends and family gave me mixed advice and I decided to quit. I had my final interview last week for another job. So I quit before I heard about this job. I guess I should have been patient but I couldn't take it anymore. I am really worried about if I am going to get this this job. What will I do If I don't get it? What will I tell future potential employers? Can I collect unemployment if I don't get this job? Although I feel somewhat relieved I thinking I might of made a mistake. Any advice?

My only advice is to not quit a current job until you have another one in hand and for the paranoid it could mean even working at the job for a week or two before quitting the other job.

I'm sorry to hear you are having this struggle. Are you taking any medication for your anxiety/depression? That could be most helpful.

I also went through very high levels of stress at my previous job which was low paying and there was no change in view from . I underwent rapid weight loss because lunchtime was not respected it was work ,work work ; going for a nature call was timed; unformal duties like messengerial yet I have a Masters degree; lumped up work; manipulation; sabotage by fellow employees, harrassment through phone call ast 5 am in the morning and very late at night by my boss; no time for socializing et.c So I quit after 2 years gone for 4 interviews and all have not reponded and its like 1 year, 6months and 3 months later. I reach a level of being low everyday and even after applying for a PHd I didnt not get the scholarship, I appply for jobs and scholarship at least 5 in a day and no positive response and my family has put alot of pressure on me and its not like I asked to be in this state. What can I do

I have depression too. I had to move home for treatment and suspend my job hunt. I decided to also finish a degree and am looking for pt work. No you wont get unemployment. If this job doesn't work out you gotta keep looking. Hopefully you have some money saved to last s little while. Otherwise you will probably need help from family. But if nothing else get a pt job while you look for ft work to stay afloat.
