I've applied for jobs left right and centre and have my Text Production exam on Thursday Morning, but I hardly hear from any application and I'd be doing extremely well if I even get an Interview.

So sorry you have to deal with this nonsense. It make you wonder.....do each of those 7 people find it as ridiculous as we do?

These days employers can do anything to get the absolute best candidate and will do whatever is necessary. They don't really understand how candidates feel. I had a big interview few months ago and got great thank you replies. They invited me for a second interview, I met with the top person. I thought I got it. I waited and waited and waited. Nothing.
Didn't get the job. I think this is how employers handle it and they can because it's their market. I hope this job comes thought for you!

The job did not come through - the offered me one in another state! I can't move! I was interviewing for one 12 miles away - or so I thought... they were hiring a bunch of people for different jobs. The main contact who had been in the first two interviews says in the 3rd interview - "I was looking at your resume and it seems you are more of a graphic designer is that right?" I am like uh did you not listen or look at my resume in the last TWO conversations we had... ugh... so upsetting.

Once again, I guess you're interviewing for brain surgery. I know it's ridiculous. Hold on if you can.
