Understanding Betrayal Community Group
Traumatic events, such as natural disasters and criminal attacks shatter assumptions about our sense of safety in the world. In a similiar way, the discovery of infidelity is devastating because it shatters basic assumptions about the security we expect in committed relationships. This group is open to anyone. My H seems to think that his current obsession with online relationships is "just a phase" that I should wait him out on. He thinks he can sort it out and get over it and then we can just go on like nothing happened. ?!? I am floored by this thinking. He's been carrying on an EA (still not sure about the PA part) for months now - 4 months since I found out, with no sign of slowing down or stopping. And he honestly thinks I shouldn't be so upset about it, because (like all of his previous obsessions) some part of him probably knows he'll eventually get bored with it and move on.
I just can't believe he thinks the damage he has caused in the process is so easy to sweep under the rug. Like it shouldn't matter to me that he betrayed our vows, pushed me aside for virtual strangers, ignored my pain and rubbed my face in it (he thinks it's okay to "confide" in me the problems he's now having with the OW - like I'm his therapist!).
Some days, I just walk around shaking my head how someone can be so clueless about the impact they have on others.

Wow! I cant believe his behavior...just like kids...oral sex is not real sex....who is he kidding? You have every right to be upset and mortified by his behavior. I wish you good luck. Hugs

Why do you stay and allow yourself to be disrespected and then blame him? We teach people how to treat us and you have taught him his behavior is acceptable. Think about it? I wish you joy peace and happiness and that you recognize yourself for the wonderful powerful loving person that you are.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
