You are not alone. Maybe we could find a special way to thank them. I take medicine, but it doesn't always work. Even then, he will always love me. In fact, he takes such good care of me, that he gets a little anxious himself. I feel guilty because I cannot seem to block the emotions that I feel. I guess we need to take responsibility for our "condition", but that is hard because it is not our fault that we have problems.
Marriage is really tough sometimes ~ even for normal people. I am determined to take the steps necessary, to have my husband in my life for the rest of our lives.
His handicap is Attention Deficit Hyopactivity disorder, so most of my tirades he misses because he is totally unaware. So, knowing that there really is no point in getting mad, we both just laugh stuff off these days.
I'm serious. It's a good relationship.
I don't tantrum now. I laugh.
The only way I can repay him, is to love him and treat him the same. I always do nice things for him. I agree with hairymick : on both sides, be gentle when it comes to spouses. If I were to lose mine, my life would fall apart. That is how important it is to me. I sure love him, and he does understand about bipolar. He married me knowing that I have some challenges. He is always behind me 100%.
He refuses to learn anything about bp.
YES IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING
Hugs to you. have you educated him about the disorder? Knowledge is a powerful thing.
