Honestly, I couldn't live without my pillow. I started using a body pillow with my first pregnancy and then while nursing too. I bought a regular body pillow the first time and loved it. I later bought a pregnancy one, but it really wasn't as comfortable for me.

My husband calls it the great wall of china but other than that it's been a real help! I don't think I could've transitioned to sleeping on my side (former tummy sleeper) nearly so well without it.

I agree with Reply #1, but my STBX husband said that it was the reason that we were never intimate again and one of the reasons why our marriage failed. I needed it though. First I had a regular pillow, then I had a full body pillow. I had a pregnacy pillow, but I could not move when I used it. So, It probably depends on your body. Just be aware that your husband will feel like he is being baracaded AWAY from you...Make time to snuggle with him...

I love mine! Could not sleep without it. I also have another body pillow on my back so I don't roll on my back to sleep. It is like having a wall of pillows around you, but do what ever works for you.

I have a Snoogle and absolutely love it! I couldn't live without mine either. DH does joke occasionally about it keeping him away from me or to take up more of the bed. I think my quickly growing belly is doing more to take up the bed than anything! I sleep with my back to him and the pillow is in front of me, so it really doesn't. They are well worth the money in my opinion. DH actually wants one for himself too! He has a bad back and he finds it comfy and supportive for his back.

I'm with all you ladies I couldn't sleep without mine. I got the giant 'U' shaped one, so I wouldn't have to move my pillow when I roll over. I love it!! If I accidently fall asleep without it I'll wake up with horrible back and hip pains.
GET ONE IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE!!!

My sister in law got me one for christmas and I love it my stomache does not have as much pressure on it.

i just started using a reg body pillow a couple of weeks ago. i sleep with it too my front tucked under my belly and in between my legs. it has helped my back pain SO much. so far it hasn't affected the intimacy part in my marriage, but i sleep with my pillow facing away from him and he usually sleeps right up against my back so i don't roll over. i don't know by experience, but i have been told by many women not to waste your money on a pregnancy pillow, to just get a regular body pillow. but like i said, i don't know personally.

Total waste of money for me. I ended up with a regular body pillow at my back, a beanie roll under the belly and a regular pillow between the knees. Itimacy wasn't a problem because my DP had to start sleeping in the spare room since I started snoring like a freight train around 28 weeks. Gotta say I was way more comfortable just me and my pillows in bed!

i had a u shaped pillow for all my pregnancys and you can use them to prop bub up when they come along too!

Or just a big body pillow to wrap around. I used like...4 no joke every night when I started to bet huge.
