Kicking

How did you know who was kicking you? The last time I was pregnant the one baby was standing up and baby b was laying across forming a t so I knew who was who. This time they are side by side so when I feel something in the middle I don't know who it is. I feel more movement in my right then my left so I get nervous. Any suggestions?

Most mom's have a pretty good sense, especially if you have frequent ultrasounds to confirm position, but there's no way to know 100% for sure.

My boys are also side by side so I know how the movements in the middle are hard to tell. If I have a movement right in the middle, I'll sit and wait for other movements trying to tell which side they are on. Most of the time I'll get a movement on the right side or left side along with the middle movements. It's so frustrating though because Baby B moves ALL the time but Baby A is a chill little guy so of course I start worrying about him because he doesn't move as much. Although I might go crazy if they both moved as much as B does, he makes me nauseaus sometimes with his crazy dance moves!

My twins are also side by side, but my girl moves tons more than her brother. She is on the left side but she is the one that usually kicks in the middle. I only kinda know this because in the ultrasound my boy is faceing toward the right and my girl is faceing straight up. And when I get kicked in the middle, it is usually followed by a kick on the left.

I worry a little about my boy because he doesn't move very much at all, but my doctor says that it is perfectly natural for one twin to move more than the other. She just tells me to try and keep track of who is moving and as long as my boy moves every now and then, He's fine. It is hard with two when one moves more that the other. If it was only one baby and they didn't move that much, I don't think we would really notice it, but since there are two it's hard not to notice that one moves more than the other.

I loved reading all these!!! I am pregnant for the first time with twins, almost 18 weeks! I got the flutters almost 2 weeks ago but havent felt much at all the last 3 days, is that normal for anyone else? It just makes me nervous! I have been having some twinges on my sides but not sure if that is anything! I am the same with most of you! Twin B moves all over the place when we see "it" on ultrasounds and Twin A is just layed back and chill! We find out the genders on monday! My sister does U/S in Colorado for a private practice and she worked it out for her to scan me and let us know when she comes! I am soo excited!
