I'm writing from the hospital tonight. On Friday, the 15th I started having contractions at home. I went the the doctor's office that afternoon, and they sent me to the hospital to be monitored because I was 1cm dialated. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions that didn't work, so they started an IV of magnesium sulfate. Oh wow, was that rough. I felt like my entire body was on fire...even my eyes. It was really rough going for a while. The had cold clothes wiping me down, a fan blowing on me - nothing seemed to relieve it. After a while it settled down a little, and now, Saturday night, they have lowered the dose and I am hoping to be home by Monday. They also gave me steroid shots yesterday and today (Saturday) in case the labor starts again and they are unable to stop it. Since I am 30 weeks, they would have to send me to another hospital to deliver, if I can make it to 32 weeks I'll be able to deliver here, which is really what I want to do. Please keep our girls in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi,I have my phone consultation with the new clinic tomorrow and will be (hopefully) starting IVF soon. What was your experience like? Side effects from the medication? Were you able to work out or did you have to take it easy? What was retrieval day like and what was it like after? Did you do a fresh or FET the first time?
Good afternoon! I have 9 year old twin girls. Very sweet, they do well in school; and they are fighting constantly. How do you know when it is normal sibling competition and when it is a problem? It is a daily problem, and I am concerned.
