I know we are all different, and anything can happen, but I am curious. For those of you who work, how far into your pregnancy did you work? I need to work as long as possible for financial reasons, but want to be realistic. Thanks for any advice/input!
I am 32w3d with my twins and just last week started feeling yucky and not wanting to go in to the office. I have some calf and ankle swelling that is not going away and just general feeling of hugeness with the babies. So, my OB wrote me a note so I can work from home 2 days per week. My boss is fine with it and I just needed a dr's note. I have an amnio around May 21 and scheduled c section the following week so I am going to see if I can be put out of work offiically the day of my amnio. I will then get 8 weeks paid leave when the babies come and then taking the remaining of my FMLA unpaid I should get about 11 1/2 weeks or so. I know it is along time to be without pay and my DH and I are freaking a little about it but I want to spend as much time with my babies as possible. Good Luck!!!
