I was lucky and did not have any at all with the twins.You might be the same way.

I didn't get any either. I think genetics have a lot to play in that factor.

unfortunately i have a ton of stretch marks around my belly. they showed up during pregnancy, but in the 3 weeks i have not been preggers, they have become less noticable. i have no idea about genetics, my mom never had any... but it sounds like it could be a possiblity.

I didnt get any until my last two weeks of pregnancy and now they are like a hurricane around my belly.

I got one stretch mark and it happened in the last month of my pregnancy. You're not shallow! I was devistated. I'd made it through 3 prior pregnancies with no stretch marks, so it was hard on me to see just one. Alot of people say coccoa butter doesn't work but I swear by it. I would put it on 3 or more times a day. I know I would of had more if I didn't. Good luck!

Mine started at about 32weeks, the first one was the tiny scar where i had my belly button peirced, that fully stretched to a big scar.. stretch marks suck!! i know many people say 'oh they are like trophies, or its worth it i have beautifal babies' but damnnnn they suck... i woudl kill to wear a bikini :(

My twins are 3 months old, and just a few days ago I noticed a few light marks (below the bikini line). This was my 4th pregnancy and I didn't have any before now. Even though some people say oils, and coccoa butter aren't worth putting on....I strongly dissagree. Use it, over use it, it works!
You're not shallow. I thought about stretch marks daily when I was preggo.

my first son was 9lbs and I did not get any. With my big boys now I do have them only in the middle of my stomach and because I was so little to big I have alot of extra skin. But I also was showing 50 weeks along and had 2 7lbs boys. I kept puttiong cream on my belly

There is not much that you can do...I dont have stretch marks but I have extra hanging skin...YUCK...but so does my mother, so it is genetic...

I used a ton of coco butter and baby oil...and now use Strivectin which is a stretch mark recovery cream...

I wasnt too concerned with the stretch marks or how my body was going to look after the pregnancy...I was more concerned about having a blessed pregnancy and healthy babies...dont get me wrong...I talked about my belly ALL the time...didnt want stretch marks, but it happens...

Its really weird... the only place I have them is on my sides almost around to my back. They are really small so I'm not too upset. I didnt see them until after I had the babies but that may have been because I couldnt turn that far sideways while I was pregnant!

oh i have stretch marks galore...but they do go from that angry reddy purple to a light silvery colour...start rubbing in some cocoa butter now as this will help keep the skin elasticised(sp) hopefully...i rubbed Vitamin cream on my stretch marks and that did help them too :)

I say if u have stretch marks Tanning lotion helps hide them a lil and lets u wear a bikini..although my bikini wearing days are gone my mummy apron needs to be tucked into a pair of Blommers instead :D
