So after trying for a year and shots, ultrasounds, pills and just the emotional stress we got our positive October 25, 2013. On Dec 10 we found out were are having twins. Twins do run in our family and god willing if we make it with ours it will be the first surviving set. So here is my issue. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week. Sounds easy but it is in a rural emergency room so it has its days. My boss has me on 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. The nights are killing me cause she usually has them 3 in a row. It is really hard for me to sleep during the day cause I don't like taking something just to sleep and throws my meal routine out of wack. Im trying to get all my nutrients in but when you are trying to sleep all day and then Im tired all night I just don't feel like eating. Im thinking about getting a Dr note cause to keep me on days. There are 2 other nurses pregnant who also work night but they are not carrying twins and conceived naturally. It might sound selfish but we went through hell and high water for these babies. What would everyone else do???
