I have to add that this happened naturally and was a complete shock because most people that don't know our situation will think we are just plain crazy.

I am pregnant with my 4th. I have a 5 year old who I got pregnant with naturally and twins through ED. I ended up getting pregnant naturally as I thought I could not get pregnant due to poor egg quality, so we are in similar situations. My twins are 19 months and I am due in 11 days. Thanks for the response JulB! You sound like a carbon copy of me! My twins were from ED as well. When the doctor checked my ovaries at my ultra sound, she said that I only have one follicle left when most women my age have at least 10. She was pretty amazed as well that we are pregnant. It seems we all have this kind of situation in common. My husband and I just adopted my 7 year old goddaughter, and we have girl/boy twins that will be 10 months old on the 5th of November. I also recently found out that I am pregnant again. I am 11 weeks along now, due on May 17th, so our twins will be 16 months old when our new baby is born.

Our new pregnancy was also a complete shock. We just got married on October 13th, this was the last thing we had in mind. But it's happened and we are looking forward to our new little addition.

As for advice, I don't really have any as of yet.

I too got pregnant through IVF and had b/g twins and my husband and I were also told that we most likely wouldn't get pregnant on our own. I am now almost 32 weeks pregnant with baby 3. My twins will be about 21 months old when this one arrives. The thought of 3 kids under 2 is very overwhelming and it still baffles us how we got pregnant naturally after having so many obstacles to overcome just to get our twins.

We went through 3 years of IF and did 5 rounds of IVF to have our twin boys, who are now 15 mos. We were pretty convinced that there was no way we could get pregnant on our own either. I just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant - completely naturally. If all goes well, they will be 23 months apart. I am worried about how we will manage with 3 babies under 2. I am also worried about taking care of my twins while pregnant - I had to be on bedrest with them. I also could use advice so let me know what you find. I keep thinking about the car and stroller thing as well. And little things like how I am going to go to the store, or anywhere for that matter??

Congratulations on everyone's pregnancies! It really is amazing how things tend to work out.

I have been doing some research on strollers and I actually have a friend who has 3 year old triplet girls. She bought the Peg Perego triplet stroller used and it's basically the Cadillac version of triple strollers! I have read that this is by far the best triple stroller out there, but it costs over $1,000.00 brand new, plus it is only compatible with a Peg Perego infant car seat which is like twice the price of a Graco one. That however, is the only triple stroller I could find that would allow an infant car seat, the others all say it should not be used until baby is 6 months old.

Now we are looking at a quad stroller. I figure it might be easier having the extra seat for the diaper bag instead of needing to bend down and get it out from under the stroller. Oh, I can just imagine the looks we are going to be getting. We are already getting strange looks and comments when we all go out together as a family. I guess seeing a family with 17 month old twins and a clearly pregnant mom is something to gawk at. I guess we'll just have to get used to it.

I have three children that are all about 15 months apart (ages 1,2,&3) so I was also looking at all the super expensive triple strollers to make taking them places easier. When it was just my two oldest girls I LOVED my graco duo glider and took it everywhere (only $150 at target!) and one day I was walking through babies r us and saw these $10 plastic snaps that can connect two strollers side by side to make a double. I decided right then that I needed another duoglider and bought one so now I have a quad stroller when I need it or two duogliders when I need them. Its been awesome and I dont know where else you can find a quality quad stroller for $300.

Also... I am 30 weeks with twins right now (huge shock!) So its going to be really helpful that any of the four seats will hold an infant carrier...and a mommy hook on the handle is a life saver.

My only other comment to you ladies having a singleton so soon after twins is that you can do it. I might not have had my twins first but I had 3 under 3 while working full time and it was challanging but it worked out just fine. you will be amazed at how well and how quickly you adapt to situations you thought you couldnt handle and before long youll be a pro. Just have patience with yourself and trust that you will figure out what works for you by trial and error and that your chances of ending up in a padded cell are pretty low ;) Good luck ladies!

It's nice to know that there is a chance that I can survive these next couple of years and still keep my sanity. :) I have a Graco duo glider for our twins and love this stroller. I had no idea you could snap two of them together. If only I had gotten this advice two weeks ago.

We did end up buying a Peg Perego triplet stroller. It is gently used and we bought it for $300 which is a steal because brand new it is $1,000.00. I have heard so many good things about this stroller and feel lucky to have found it. All three seats can be arranged either facing forward or backward. And all three seats lean back all the way so they will fit an infant car seat (Peg perego only). My kids will be very comfortable in this stroller. The only down sides are that it is huge and tricky fitting it into our Honda Odyssy, but can be done. Also, it can be quite a pain to put it away because you have to take out each stroller seat before folding up the base. But what can you expect from a triple stroller.
