TTC after stillbirth Community Group
A group for those who have suffered a stillbirth and are considering ttc or actively ttc again. We know the emotional challenges of trying again and who better to support us than others who have been through what we have been through.
I lost my son Joshua on September 4, 2013 and it has been 2 months since. I stopped bleeding around 3 weeks after giving birth and I still haven't got my period. We have been having unprotected sex but I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. My doctor said it could be all the stress. We want to start trying next month but I didn't even get my period yet. I want to be pregnant so bad. It seems a little soon but I don't want to wait. I want to be a mother who gets to take care of their child. I am a mother to Joshua but in a different way. I would like to hear from you ladies on when you got your period and when you started trying again.

Hi, sorry to hear about your loss, this group is not as active anymore but i do log in now and then, i lost my first boy at 38 wks 2 yrs ago and just like you i wanted to be pregnant right away, my periods started after 2 months but i was having heavier than normal and more pains, my doc also said it was due to stress, as hard as it is the advice was to try and relax and not obsess about being pregnant which was not easy. I now have a healthy baby boy. Sending you baby dust xx

Hi there, I waited a long 10.5 weeks for mine. I started trying 2 weeks later. I got the ok from my ob and only asked that I wait one cycle. So, I'm in the tww. I hope af comes soon and you do what your heart desires! I know how hard it is to wait!!!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
