Ttc, what an emotional rollarcoaster!

I got pregnant so easily with my daughter Emilyn, it only took two months. We just started ttc again this month and i am supposed to start my cycle friday so i should know something in a few days. I keep feeling things that make me feel like i am pregnant, like sore boobs, twinges in my ovaries, slight nausea etc but then i am worried that it's all in my head. I know it's only been one month so this is kind of ridiculous but where i feel like i am if i am not i will be so sad. It's just so hard to be a mom without having your child here, i want to have a baby in my arms so badly! This is a lot more emotional than i thought it would be and i told myself that i was not going to stress over it but apparently i am.....

Well i did start my cycle friday, i was really upset that night but i have come to realize that if i stress this much each month over this i will go insane. I have to give my anxieties to the good Lord and just take it day by day. I just hope and pray in the next few months it happens!

Hi, not stressing is the best advice you can give yourself, easy said than done but thats what my doctor kept telling me. I lost my first at 38wks in 2011 and like you said the hardest thing was being a mom without raising your baby and have him around - i now have a rainbow healthy baby boy so it does happen and its worth the wait. Sending baby dust your way!! xx

Yes stress plays a big role when ttc. We got pregnant with Michael on our first try and lost him at 34 weeks due to placenta abruption. We then tried for 5 months and nothing but I was like you feeling so many symptoms and later would get my period each month. I felt like I was going crazy and getting more and more upset each month. I would get so stressed out each month so I decided to do acupuncture and got pregnant that month. I also stopped obsessing over it. I did keep records of my period but I didn't obsess over BD on specific days or times anymore. I just let it happen on its own and it happened. I hope this helps you in your journey. I literally just emailed someone on DS about what an emotional rollercoaster this TTC thing is. This is only our first cycle officially trying and I am already totally obsessing over every ache, pain, and twinge. I haven't even ovulated yet, so I'm freaking out about that, because it seems to be coming late. Oh my. :(

Like you said, we just have to give it to God and trust it'll happen when it is supposed to. But man oh man, it's hard!

Yes it is very hard to not stress over every little think you feel. I think it is so much harder for us too because we are moms without our babies and that is a tough existence. I hope it happens soon for all of us, we deserve this!
