No luck this month

Well this was only our second month ttc and I was 2 days late so I was very excited. Then AF came yesterday :(. It's only been two months and frankly I'm already getting tired of it, maybe because I've never actually ttc, before it kind of just happened. Also I have yet to see + OPK. I know two months isn't a long time, but am I the only one that finds it to be so much work to check cm incesantly, poas twice a day to check for a + OPK, and taking temps everyday? I even drank Robitussin and used Pre-seed last month (talk about obsessive). I guess I'm just asking for some advice from those who are experienced in ttc. I'm not a patient person by nature so this is a whole new level of discipline for me. I would like to know from some gals how long you all been ttc and how long has it taken to get BFP's.

well my doc said to wait about 5 months im not really trying but i wasnt preventing either. it been two months and af showed up yesterday so im kinda nervous that im gonna have trouble getting pregnant cuz i wasnt trying with my angel i lost. im not patient either. i want another baby yesterday and waiting for 5 months is definitely not on my agenda.good luck and best wishes

Sorry this wasn't ur month. We are in our fourth month of ttcing and frankly I dont know how much more BDing I can take!!! This month, we actually began a discussion with a reproductive endocrinologist-not so much for the "its been four months and we're not pregnant yet" as much as its for the recurrent miscarriages that I keep having. Seeing the specialist actually made me calmer this month-I guess its knowing that we have extra help out there if we need it! All you can do is hang in there and while you are most likely a neurotic mess for the week that you think you are ovulating, take the time out of the other three weeks to be you again and enjoy life!!

I am not at all a patient person either! It took us 4 months to get pregnant, and it was about 5 months after our loss. It seemed endless. I also never got + OPKs the month I got pregnant, so it can happen without + OPKs. Good luck!

dhohmam: Your response brought me hope because I saw your age and it's close to mine. I'm getting scared that I'll be 35 soon and it will more difficult to conceive and I'll be at higher risk of problems.
I think what's getting to me is that I seem to be obsessed and I can't think about anything else but getting pregnant. I can't find anything that matters to me, except my son, since I lost my baby.

Gosh, I wish I was 35 again. I am now 41 years old and am petrified that I will not be able to conceive a child again. I had my first 4 children with my 1st husband when I was in my 20"s. Perfectly normal pregnancies, perfectly healthy babies. I remarried 2 years ago and my husband and I decided to have a baby. I became pregnant with Gabriel after only 2 cycles of TTC. I felt like he was meant to be. Then he was gone. I understand when you say you feel obsessed with TTC. I am the same way. I pray that all of us who have already experienced such heartache, will soon have healthy babies in our arms.
