TTC after stillbirth Community Group
A group for those who have suffered a stillbirth and are considering ttc or actively ttc again. We know the emotional challenges of trying again and who better to support us than others who have been through what we have been through.
Hey guys! I haven't been on here in forever, so I've got to pick back up and meet all the new people and get to know you better and let you get to know me again.
Anyway, after losing my daughter last year at 32 weeks in May, my husband and I started trying again in June. It tooks us months, but we found out last November that we were pregnant again finally!
For some reason, I never felt okay. Making my entire family furious with me, I would not get excited about this pregnancy. I didn't want to tell people, or get happy, or make plans. I felt like something was off. Then my husband and I went to our first visit, and we heard the crushing news. I had a blighted ovum, and there would be no baby.
What is both completely devestating can also be hopeful...the two things (stillbirth and miscarriage) were COMPLETELY UNRELATED!!! Its just that after the horrifying year I had last year, the months of let downs with BFN's, I thought for sure once I saw that positive everything would be great. But after a million tests from last time, all I get from the doctor is that, AGAIN..."This is just a fluke, you will have a healthy pregnancy in the future."
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! (PS, my hubby is out of town, bad freaking timing!!!!)
