Ovulation Predictor kits?

My husband and I are getting ready to start trying to conceive again after having had two miscarriages in the last year. I've never used an ovulation predictor kit before - our son was conceived the first month we tried, but with the last two pregnancies it took about 6 months of trying each time. Does anyone have experience with using these? They're kind of pricy, so I just wanted to see what others thought about them before I run out and buy one. I feel like anything that could possibly help would be well worth it.

I love my Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor. It is pricy but it makes everything so easy. It tells you when to test when you are at low/high/peak and when your AF should be there. I got my monitor on Ebay so it was a little cheaper. The monitor runs about $100 on Ebay. The sticks on early-pregnancy.com are $39 a box. Enough for 2-3 cycles.

I have used the sticks from early-pregnancy as well and they work but require you to do the calculating. They are really inexpensive about $20 for a pack of 25.

If you must use OPKs - and believe me, I know the urge to POAS (read: pee on ANY stick) - I would go with anything digital. The others are way too difficult to interpret.

Keep in mind that OPKs may not work for everyone though. The Fertility Monitor Jenn1307 mentioned is likely more reliable.

Thanks to both of you for the responses. I do feel the urge to POAS! : ) I guess I just want to make sure that my body is back to functioning 'normally'. Also, thanks for the ebay suggestion - I hadn't thought to look there.

Gosh, I know what you mean... that's where my urge to POAS was coming from, was to figure out what the heck my body was doing. Part of the loss is not trusting your body to do what it needs to, because you feel so betrayed by it, by virtue of not having been able to protect your baby in the first place. At least, that's where I was coming from. It was a control thing for me... I'm letting go VERY slowly though! Good luck :)
