DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat! I am at my wits end of losing posts! It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem. How can we fix it? I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.

I think you already covered this in a previous post but I know plain old oatmeal is good for lowering cholesterol. I have it most days for breakfast with a little yogurt and fruit. Also, recently purchased some organic flax seed at health food store and have sprinkled some on top.
A tip: THE DASH DIET is great. I lost 50 pounds on it a few years ago. It's targeted to lowering blood pressure but it's a good all around eating plan. Has very good guidelines for foods, portions, etc and is easy to understand.
