TRYING TO GET HEALTHY Community Group
Thought we could use a newer version of all topics we may want to work on. From losing weight to reducing cholesterol, controlling blood sugar, activities to strengthen not just our bodies, but also our battered and bruised egos and self esteem...A place where we can share knowledge as well as encouragement to help each other to grow stronger and healthier. All are...

I was amazed to stumble back here and see the dates... and feel the familiarity... And here I am.
IT IS JUNE 27,2021. I am officially declaring I am back on track again. This time intending for good. This past week, I have only brought healthy food into the house. Prepped and chopped ahead so ready to go. Is actually hard to make decisions with so many good options. YUM
Also getting moving. Doing stretches, repetitions of old PT exercises... riding the bike as well as other ways to be more active. It is definitely helping my mobility. A friend also mentioned magnesium helping with nerves and circulation. I started to take that as well. She mentioned the T vinegar with warm water to boost metabolism. I did try that but is rather wicked down the throat. (I already have issues with acid reflux... according to DR which causes hoarseness ,so not a fan of this. ) I did resort to 2 T picklejuice with a swig of water chaser. lol. Don't know if it does anything, but figured I'd give it a go.
At any rate, taking time to hold myself accountable so I don't see saw on and off. It feels good to take charge of things and watch things go the right direction. Currently losing a pound a day. Would prefer it all overnight, but not realistic. I'll take what I can get. I am taking in the big picture. Feeling good is just as important when the scale pauses or plummettes.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
