It takes up to a year for the average fertile couple to achieve a successful pregnancy, and here at DailyStrength you will find information and support while you are waiting for...
I am in a very similar situation. We have been trying for close to 2 years also. I am on clomid to help with ovulation and just started my 4th cycle taking it. No one tells you how hard it can be to get pregnant and the emotional toll it takes on you. My cycles are literally a cycle of emotions. Every month after a week or so of being upset, I get ready for a new try with optimism for a a week or two, then super anxious to test and scared of what feels like the inevitable.. :/ I have had quite a few friends and family members be on the journey with me and then...they get pregnant. I am of course happy for them but I can't help but be upset as well... My sister in law started trying a year after us and even though she did have it rough with a miscarriage, she got pregnant the month after so it only took 6 months...i hate feeling jealous of everyone but it's very hard to control. This all being said, I don't have a ton of optimism at the moment but my supporters do. They truly believe that God has a plan for me and my time will come and deep down I believe that too but it's hard to be patient when it's all I've wanted for as long as I can remember. Maybe we can be support for each other. Really, don't give up yet! 2 years feels like a terribly long time, but I've heard of so many stories of it taking way longer and when you least expect it.
