Hi there! I have PCOS. And have a similar experience as you. I could go 4 months having a "normal" cycle then go 3 months without one.. there's no real test for PCOS you just go to your regular gyn and tell him your symptoms. He can test for elevated androgens. Male hormones.. and send you for sonograms. This is a good idea if you are actively trying to conceive. My dr was very proactive and we found out that I had a septated uterus and endometriosis as well. There are some treatments like clomid which is the most common and least experience route.. I've been unsuccessful on clomid so my dr referred me to a RE (reproductive endocrinologist). He is switching me to famera another drug. And then we will do IUI and If that fails IVF. This journey is a long and hard one filled with emotions that are high and low. And unexpected behaviors and feeling. If you need support or just need to vent I'm willing to listen. Hi, I too am trying to concieve with my husband. We have been trying now for 3 years. I'm 25 and never had a regular cycle either. We have tried clomid and the monitoring of our follicles. They got to a 9mm and 13 and the one on the right (13mm collapsed) I was upset but of course we kept trying. This time they upped my clomid to 150mg days 1-5 and they started growing but neither took on the lead role so they stayed at 10mm. Now they've switched me to Metformin 1500mg and Femara 7.5 mg and I'm currently taking the provera to start my period. It's very frustrating but I'm trying to keep my faith and go on. This is the last thing we can do before we move on to injections.

Hello! This month makes a year now that my husband and I have been ttc. I was on birth control pills for almost 15 years. I was put on it at a young age for ovarian cysts and prolonged heavy bleeding. I came off of the pill and for 4 months had no cycle in sight! I was given povera to induce my cycle and then on cycle day 21 I had labwork done that showed no ovulation! Upset was an understatement! We then had a plan with my doctor to start the provera again and then start Clomid 50mg. She told me that if it didn't help me ovulate we would work our way up to 100mg then 150mg. I thought "Oh I won't have to worry about that b/c it will work on 50mg". How wrong I was. 50mg no ovulation, 100mg no ovulation again, 150mg ovulated but no BFP, 150mg again and no ovulation again! I am now on provera again to induce my cycle and start Femara 2.5mg. I just wanted to tell you my story and let you know that although it is such an emotional rollercoaster, you still have to stay positive and have faith! It's ok to have bad days and it's ok if you feel jealousy start b/c someone tells you they are pregnant. We are all here for the same reason and it's so nice to get these things off of your chest! @saydeeb I am new to the group been TTC forever & like you I was out on provera in order to have a cycle. I started seeing a RE this year so far I have done blood work(which seems like a gallon of blood) , HSG procedure and an ultrasound of my uterus this itself has been hard, painful, stressful & scary. Next week I will receive the results of all my lab work & procedures I'm super excited but sad I'm scared to hear any bad news. Wish me luck
