I just purchased the book.. ''Taking charge of your fertility'' - In the book it's all about charting your temps and helping you get pregnant. - Has anyone used this book and if so - was it successful for you?

I have read it and did the temp thing but it did not work for me. But only because of MF problems. (didnt know it at the time when we were trying.)

Temping does work for a lot of women. In some cases it even shows women problems they might have not known about. On the other hand women who are not regular have a hard time using temps.

I say go for it does not hurt to try. The book even gives you a website u can use to help you. I will start temping again soon when we get back to TTC. GL

Thank you for the response I'm going to try to use the program that came with the book and give it a go.. My only problem is I work the night shift so everything is backwards for me.. LOL! - Thanks for your input. :)

I used the book, and although I don't know if it directly contributed to the conception of my son, I feel it is a amazing book. I think that all women should read it, so they can learn the mysteries of our complicated bodies. I did chart for a long time, and have only really stopped because I was so regular. I found it really interesting.

I used the book and it gave me insight into my cycle which helped me conceive. The charting didn't work on it's own for me. However, I charted for 9 months and was able to bring them to the fertility doctor and it helped us diagnose my problem sooner and I ended up pregnant 1 month after my first appointment. Hope the book helps you!

I am have recently been diagnosed with a micro adenoma of the pituitary gland which at the moment is preventing me from ovulating. Im currently taking medication to hopefully fix the problem but in the meantime Ive been reading this book which was recommended by someone in a similar position to myself. I feel better for already simply for educating myself and am defiantly going to give charting a go. Good luck!
