Trying to have kids is one of the hardest things If your reality status is "it can't be done naturally " I am 28 have blocked Fallopian tubes and orange size fibroids. I tried so many times to get my hopes up and convince myself that the scans are just playing tricks with me. My heartache started the moment the doctors told me no medical insurance will cover me should I want to opt out for IVF. I will have to save up for years for me to get enough money to start the process and friends and others family members feel as if is easy as praying. Not understanding that I do pray and how many precnancy test I have done in Hoping God has has answered me this time. I am so drained and feel hopeless. I can't even celebrate other people having babies as it becomes salt to my wounds. I feel that the joy of motherhood is so far from me since I have to buy into it and with no guarantees

Hi, you’re not alone. No one will understand your pain unless they themselves have gone through it. It’s hard to see everyone around you get it so easily and worst of all are the unplanned pregnancies that are taken for granted. I really hope it happens for you, you’re only 28, don’t stress yourself too much as that’s not good for you either. Save money and continue to have faith and positivity, god will answer your prayers. Here’s hoping for us all

Hi, I am sorry to know your story, If you cannot afford IVF, you might consider undergoing treatment abroad. My sis knows someone who had IVF in Poland and Russia, and paid EUR2,500 for treatment with meds. x

Would you considering moving to state where IVF is covered under insurance? I am lucky to live in Massachusetts were IVF is covered under all insurance. If you are willing to move, do some research into states around you where it is covered. Best of Luck.

HelloKitty1 - great idea, or as mentioned above, consider undergoing IVF abroad. Poland, Cyprus or Spain offer top notch treatment at pocket friendly prices.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems with ttc. Believe me I'm very frustrated myself. My husband and I are both in our early 40's. We’ve been trying for about 6 years. I always thought that it'll only take me one month and I'll be good to go. But that was not the case. We had so many fertility treatments. Seems we’ve done all possible tests. We spent lots of money. But we are still at the same place. It also doesn't help when everyone around is having kids. Moreover family keeps asking when we're having a baby. Try not to lose your hope. Though I know how hard it is to keep believing… I woke up depressed this morning, but I don't want to let myself get to that level. I will keep trying and see what happens.

The most bothering is that we cannot predict which embryos will implant and why. And hence we do not know why an IVF cycle fails or succeeds.. We went through 4 failed ivf rounds before found ourselves at BTC applying for surrogacy plan. Yes, we are not satisfied with the fact we had to go through all that nightmare and finally we were left childless just like at start. But this did happen. No use brushing things in memory again and again and hating everyone around! I think this also shows how mature we are with our thoughts towards the ivf process..And it makes sad people don't value the efforts done for them. All we can do is to hope and follow the dr's advice. Praying for everyone in this boat.

@HelloKitty1, good idea of yours. If it's possible for the former poster then why not to try?! Anyway I personally love all thoe plans called ''guaranteed'' too. Thus those aren't many within clinics throughout the world. The clinic I'm currently with offers, for ex. it in a way - if you don't succeed after 5 shots in a row and do not want to proceed with them, or your body has got drained of meds - They refund money paid! Isn't it a nice plan B to have?..
