Hello all,
Been TTC for almost a year now with no luck. Both my husband and I have been tested for issues; he's fine but my hormonal balance is off. My doctor has me on meds to help but so far after 3 months in the meds no positive result. I'm feeling so many things right now... frustration, sadness, anger, helpless... I'm tired of hearing "it will happen when it happens" and "just relax" To top it all off, one of my friends is pregnant and is posting almost every day about her pregnancy and her gender reveal party. I'm trying really, really hard to be happy for her but I admit I'm jealous and I'm finding it all really hard to hear.
How do you all handle these emotions and feelings?
Please know my heart goes out for you. It is so tough when you want something so bad and you see everyone else get it. Me personally, I got off of Facebook and all social media because I couldn't handle pregnancy announcements. Have you thought about acupuncture? I started doing that after a year and nine months of all kinds of other ways such as Clomid. It helps balance my hormones because I ovulate at a more reasonable time. Keep your head up and don't give up.
I'm a textbook of infertility treatments myself. We're currently undergoing OE surrogacy at Bio tex com (Came here for relatively affordable prices as were paying out of pocket on previous unsuccessful treatments home). When I was preparing for our following IVF cycle, seems I did everything I could. And I remember at that very time my co-woker announced her pregnancy! It sounds terrible, but I almost felt like she hasn’t earned it..This was her very first FET. She was even able to genetically test her embryo. One PGD-normal embryo, one transfer, one pregnancy, one baby..
We finally switched the clinics, flew to Kiev. Also met people currently using their new treatment method of mitochondria replacement therapy and IVF. Doc and everybody seem to be excited about the process flow so far.
I'm really in the weeds with you right now. My DH and I have been trying for 6 years and just had our first failed IUI cycle and I am really struggling. I turned off all social media and have given myself permission to not go to friends baby showers anymore. The questions, the unsolicited advice, and just the pain of it all is too much, and that's ok! You can send a gift and be happy for your friend when you see her, but you don't have to put yourself through that literal torture. I'm sending you all the good vibes♥️
