Hi,
Last night I did an OPK....left it lying in the bathroom, forgot about it.....and came back 30 mins later and it had switched itself off :( I pulled the end out and stuck in back in and it showed me a smiley face :)
Has anyone every done this before and should I take that smiley face for what it really is or just discard it?
Will be doing another one later but just wondered if this has happened to anyone else.
For info it was a clearblue digital....:)

I currently use the same brand, but I have never tried putting it back in. I have had it go blank on me because I took too long to read it, but when I ejected it it gave me the result. Did you see anything on the test when you ejected it (before you put it back in)?

Thanks so much for the info!

I'm not really sure what happened - I don't know if pulling the stick out or pushing it back in caused it to show a smiley face but it was definitely there! Negative test the following day so I'm taking the Thursday test as the only OPK this cycle.

My temps have been up 3 consecutive days after the +OPK so I'm sure the test was OK even though I forgot to check :)

Won't do that again in a hurry - will the timer on the oven to ring 3 mins later next time lol
