My husband and I were told 6 years ago that we would not be able to conceive naturally. It was the first year of our marriage and although we werent trying to get pregnant, knowing that we may never have a biological child was crushing. Thank goodness we fell into each other's arms during this and it helped grow and strengthen our marriage. Fast forward to last year and we found a specialist who stated that we could get pregnant if we used IVF. My husband and I have started our journey of trying to conceive last month. I start IVF treatment in less than a week. I have about a million different emotions twirling around my head at any given moment. My husband is so hopeful that this will work. He is such an encouragement to me and an optimist. I am more of a realist because I really dont like being dissapointed. Going into this first round of IVF, I am cautiously optimistic. I dont want to tell people about it because I dont want to have to tell them if we dont get preganant, but at the same time, I want to shout it from the roof top because I am so excited for the possibility of having a baby. Its a very trying time for me right now and I would appreciate any support you may have.
