Okay so my husband and me have been ttc for 1 year on 07/13 and we havnt had luck at all. Everyone around us who didnt want kids has fallen pg. Our doctor wont take us seriously because we are in our early 20's and says it will happen when it happen =/ seriously?...Anyway we are both becoming depressed and I could use some advice. Thanks Guys

I would at least push your doctor to let you get the standard tests done first to see if hormones are a factor or his little troopers may need help, the first step with this is trying to rule out what it's not and the doctor should not turn you away if you ask for LH, FSH, etc blood work to check levels but be careful certain ones have to be done on certain days of your cycle or they will be inaccurate

I am so sorry you are going through this. Have you tried using the ovulation kits? My doc recommended it right away for us because we are I our thirties. It took my body a good six months to come off birth control pills, could be the same for you too, would you agree?

How is your cycle, regular? Like does it come around the same time each month? Btw, your doc sucks for being insensitive. I find most are very out of touch with their patients. Hang in there, it will get better.

Lastly, agree with Cidekmat- ask for the simple blood work.

endowife, when you say that it took you 6 months to come off birth control, do you mean to get regular again? cause I've been off for about 9 months and have been regular since then, so I was interested if there could still be side effects even if you are regular.

Jazmin7-My husband and I have been trying for 7 cycles now and people that got married right around when we did 8 months ago are getting pregnant. the first one (my sister) is having her baby any day now) the best advice i can give you is trying not to compare yourself to others and just remembering that your time will come and when it does it will be A-MAZING! here's to hoping both of our time's come soon!

Thank you guys so much! Um my cycles are pretty regular same day of every month and here come AF :( I've never been on BC, never had too really, I am thinking about switching doctors and DH is making an appt for a urologist fingers crossed for everyone here to get their miracle!

I can totally relate! My husband and I have been TTC since July/August 2011 as well. We are both in our 20's as well. Although we have not gone in to see a doctor yet. Our plan is to wait until August because than that will be the full year. I really sorry your doctor was not taking it seriously. I would definitely switch doctors! We also have everyone around is getting pregnant too. It's frustrating but you always have got to keep your head up! I wish you the best of luck
