My wife and I have been together 11 years and married for 6 years. She is the love of my life. My wife and I have been trying for 5 years to get pregnant. I have PCOS and it's been a challenge. She has gotten pregnant and we lost three babies due to miscarriage or the babies stopped developing. Our heart hurts at this time but I'm trying to stay positive. I hope we can have the family that we want and I know we will. I see friends and strangers whom are pregnant and it is hard to see. I am hopeful and we have said we always wanted to adopt as well. I'm hoping our dreams come true. I'm just trying to stay positive. This really takes a toll on your spirit. Not sure what to do any more.

Don't lose heart... i know it can be extremely difficult trying to deal with this when ttc.. losing a baby is just so hard... but as i have said don't lose hope and keep trying. I can say this to you because i too have had a miscarriage and now im still trying..

I'm so sorry you two are going through this. Maybe this is horrible advice, but sometimes I feel like "staying positive" makes you feel worse. You feel this crushing pressure to smile when you really want to scream. Sometimes, you just need to be PISSED! You two are going through one of the hardest things you'll ever go through. Feel what you want to feel. If you need to get mad, let yourself get mad. Feel the emotions, and go forward. That's not to say be a grump until you get pregnant, but if you have a moment where you want to be mad, let yourself feel it for a while, then move on from that emotion. Find a person to talk to about how you feel and let it out. Don't feel like you need to put a brave, happy face on 100% of the time.

I know it doesn't feel the same right now, and I hope this doesn't sound insensitive to your struggle, because that is not my intent... but have you two had a serious talk about adopting? If your end goal is to have a child, adoption might be a wonderful path for you.
