Hello,

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 2.5 years. My husband doesn't prefer we go this route. We agreed we wouldn't but I want to know what fertility pills are out there and if you did take any in order to get pregnant? 2.5 years closer to 3 and I'm starting to think I need a little help.

There is a fertility pill called Clomid which makes you ovulate and most of the time you go into hyperovulation making your body produce multi eggs at a time. There is a higher chance of having multiples being on this medication. Baby dust to you and your husband.

You could try the herb Vitex which is a weaker clomid and just regulates you, This didnt work for me. It just made my periods normal but didnt cause me to ovulate. I took clomid 150mg days 3-5 when I concieved my daughter, this time I am trying an herbal pill called Soy Isoflaviones its suppose to be the natural way to go, 180mgs day 1-3 and 4-5 200mg. Never going over 200mg. Used just like clomid.

Hi, jujuscb3! Almost 3 years of TTC should make you worry not a bit! Look, I don't wanna get you upset more, but just saying what if it's time to consult a fertility consultant? Clomid and Vitex are good things people suggest. But, dear ju, we aren't experts here. Every other pill should be agreed with your GYN. Just to minimize all possible risks as the situation should be studies as the whole complex unit. Clomid is good for one woman but is not so effective for the other. The same thing is with other pills, drugs and injections. Here this is not the point of self cure. Fertility issues might lie much deeper.
Besides are you sure your husband's tests are ok?
We've been in this journey the third year. We've passed many things: consultations, testing, diagnostics (for both). We've tried 1 round ICSI which ended in early miscarriage. Now we're in DE IVF program of 5 attempts.
To make your fertility journey shorter do not seek magic fertility drugs and pills. Go straihgt to your GYN and tell her all your worries. Good luck on your way. My fingers crossed for you and lots baby dust for all us xxx
