Hey everyone, my husband and I have been trying for little over a year now to have a baby. With the first few months of trying after I stopped birth control I had no period what so ever. Then after finally going to Dr she tested me for everything only to have every test come back normal and her telling me try this medicine (progesterone 10mg) because she honestly had no idea why I wasn't having periods at this point. The only abnormal thing she found was that I had a minor build up of folicules on my ovaries when she said would go away after I had a period again. At first I took tests constantly. Then after a false positive, I stopped because now I feel like they will always be negative and I feel like I complete failure at being a woman because I can not get pregnant. My husband tries to understand but he always says it will happen honey just be patient. But how can I be patient about something I think about constantly...
Since you've been TTC for over a year have you thought about going to an RE? That was the best decision I've made. We still are not pregnant, but I feel like we're closer to it than before. It was nice to get some answers and medication that actually worked for me. Sending prayers your way.
I feel your pain also. Being patient is very hard. Same as being stressfree. I too feel the daily struggle of facing life without control over being able to achieve my goal. We can only just take one day at a time. Some days are going to suck but other days will be easier. Chin up.
