I am not sure what I am doing online. Think I've hit a point where I just feel desperately sad and alone. Friends and family are having kids - 1st, 2nd, 3rd - and my husband and I have been trying for longer than them all. There is often a conflict within myself - to be grateful for my life, for my husband. But on the other hand I just want to roll into a ball and cry myself to sleep.

Support would be good. I want to know... How do I face each day knowing that I am not pregnant? How do I continue to work day after day, when my real goal in life seems too far away? I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment. And no one seems to really understand.

Hi,
I can completely relate to everything you just said. I joined this group today bc I feel lost, despite and alone. My husband and I have been in fertility tx for over a year and month after month I get my hopes up to only be crushed when I'm not pregnant. It's so hard being happy for all my friends and family watching them have babies when I desperately want one and haven't been able to...maybe we can help one another...

I understand the monthly heart ache. Its disappointing that our bodies arent decided to conceive. I get told to relax and not to stress but its hard. Life is a constant reminder of what I don't have. Its hard to stay positive.

I totally get that feeling. I just joined this last week after feeling a bit like I dont want to moan to my best friends (one just married, other is single) nor to my hubby but also that he doesn't quite get it sometimes. The whole "relax and enjoy it, it will happen" advice makes me want to scream sometimes. My sister is expecting #2 and two of our friends are expecting this week. One of which wasnt trying which is even more frustrating.

Please dont feel alone, I'm a big believer in talking so that's why I'm here. I had to find other people to talk to thats all. However I do talk to my hubby about it because he feels the same and its our problem not just mine.

I understand what you are going through. When friends are having children it's harder on yourself. I never thought this would be harder than I thought. i do hear from friends that it took them a year or more. I feel it's a lot of staying positive and being patient.

Good to be able to talk about it with people who understand. We've been trying for 5 years. Been working with the doctor and gyneo this year so we were hoping that this would be our year. As we near the end of the year, it gets harder. Im so unmotivated to continue working because I just want to be a mum. Ive been thinking about foster caring. Wont be my own kid but at least I'll be caring for a kid in need. My husband isnt open to the idea thought
