Trying To Conceive Support Group
Whether you are just beginning your journey to create your family, or you have been trying for a few months, the TTC community will provide you with a group of like minded people who can help. It takes up to a year for the average fertile couple to achieve a successful pregnancy, and here at DailyStrength you will find information and support while you are waiting for...

I had a mc in March (d&c). My now ex-gynecologist simply gave me this and I feel that she was trying to fob me off to get me out of the office. I've had 3 bad years with her not listening and have now found a fantastic dr who is now putting me through every possible test to see why I haven't conceived and carried to term in 8 years.
I have no previous known history of mc and have no idea why she would prescribe this without knowing if there is a progesterone deficiency. I've never been tested.
I have a US on Monday and would really prefer to have them see everything in it's normal state, not hormonally enhanced.
I can't GET pregnant, that's the problem.
Thanks for sharing the info about the side effects. To be honest, I don't think I'm emotionally strong enough at the moment to be messing about with my hormones. So I will probably give it a miss and wait until all the tests are finished and hopefully try again next month. No point taking either because this month we haven't tried.
Thanks again! Best wishes to you both
xx
1. Are your periods regular?
2. Are your periods irregular?
My answer was always "regular", in that I get them once a month :)
I know now that I can see what my LP is by charting. My new doctor told me to do this and bring it to her next week, which will be day 27 when I have my appointment. I'll either just be waiting for AF to arrive or already have started.
In any case, i decided not to take this month as it's the first after the d&c. I'd like to give my body a chance to show me what it's capable of doing on it's own, without the hormones.
Thanks again for your valuable info!
