Good morning I am new to the group but I am looking forward to all the support through my new Journey. I'm 34 never been pregnant & as long as I can remember I have had irregular periods, this year I made up in my mind I would be seeing a infertility specialist. So far I have had blood work done last week & yesterday the HSG procedure(to check the fallopian tubes&uterus) it was normal but I can barely understand the blood test results so Wednesday I am schedule for an ultrasound & the doctor will review my results with me. I have never been pregnant & my first husband & I tried constantly with no avail but when we divorce shortly after he had a child & now he has several children. I'm very nervous to receive the results.

Hi! My husband and I have been TTC for two years now. Using clomid for six months. Im 25 and ever since I started puberty I've known there was something off. Very heavy very painful periods. As I got older I'd go 3 months without starting a cycle. This lead me to the gyn to get answers I was diagnosed with PCOS at 22. I wasn't interested in having kids at that time so I was just put on BC. When I told my gyn that I was ready to conceive we did ultrasounds and HSG. He found many cyst in my ovaries. And that I had a septated uterus or heart shaped uterus. He put me on methformin and clomid to help with ovulation. Tried for two years with no luck. Recently I've seen an RE (reproductive endocrinologist) and found that I may also have endometriosis. And he wants to take a biopsy laparoscopically. Although these are scary procedures and getting a diagnosis is scary also I'm thankful for them. They help our doctors help us. and find the best way to get us pregnant. Good luck to you!!

Thanks, very informative one of my concerns also is my age after 35 pregnancy is more risky but I'm up for the challenge. Once I receive the great news Wednesday I will keep you guys informed. You will be having a bouncing baby soon

Welcome to the group and wishing you good luck. I'm also 34 with irregular periods. After a few months of trying I will be back to the fertility clinic again. I'm trying a go of it on my own first but doctors can work wonders. It was scary going through it all and the testing and bloodwork they do but so worth it.
