I have just been on a holiday with my husband. I know I should feel refreshed and relaxed. I know I should be greatful for the time away and be happy that I was able to spend so much time with my husband. I know I should be this way and to those who see me, they would say that I am.
But I am not. No matter where I am, not a day goes by when I am not reminded of my situation. Not matter how far I travel, its never far enough from the emptiness I feel inside.
I have returned from the holiday no better off from when I left. I am not sure what to do. Am I being ungrateful and selfish. Is it wrong to want more from life, to want to be a mum. Should I just be happy with what I have and accept that this might be the life for me.
I'm sorry I'm not much help, just know you're not alone! Talk to your husband, mine feels the same as me if not a little more helpless than I do. Try and keep eachother positive.
My husband is a closed book so I dont really know how he feels.
It is good to know that others feel the same. Miserable is a perfect description. I hate it also but cant seem to snap out of it. I recently got a promotion at work. Instead of being happy, I cried myself to sleep. It seems stupid but I want so much to be a mum rather than be good at my job. Guess we are all in this together.
