Trying To Conceive Support Group
Whether you are just beginning your journey to create your family, or you have been trying for a few months, the TTC community will provide you with a group of like minded people who can help. It takes up to a year for the average fertile couple to achieve a successful pregnancy, and here at DailyStrength you will find information and support while you are waiting for...
I also have endometriosis, during my last lap with a specialist they also diagnosed me with adenomyosis which is known to make conceiving / staying pregnant harder so I can completely relate to how you are feeling...every month it doesn't happen I feel like our chances are getting smaller and smaller.
I know how hard it is to test and not get what you were hoping for but it sounds like you are having a lot of pregnancy symptoms, especially with your period being late (I know PCOS can cause irregular cycles but you said they had become more regular).
I think you should consider taking the test now...If you aren't pregnant it might be better to find out now and perhaps you can ask to go for more testing to see if you are ovulating etc? However if you are you can celebrate your early Christmas present!
I know it's easy for me to say all this, I really do know how hard this journey is but it will be worth it in the end. I was a few days late this month and was convinced it was our month but it wasn't to be. I was really upset but now, a few days later, I am feeling more positive and am focusing my energy on the next cycle.
Try and stay strong and keep us posted, you are not alone.
Take care x
Will they do any tests for you? Or could you consider some sort of help with conceiving like ivf?
Sorry I can't be of more help x
I would imagine they are delaying treating you since you are young. That's ageism and it's awful. Can you switch providers? Do you have an endocrinologist for the PCOS? You might be able to get a referral to an RE from an endo. They wanted to send me there first thing. (I am however 36!)
Even though my partner and I have been trying for years they have told us to try naturally again for 6 months. That hasnt worked for years, why would it work now? They dont want to put us through ivf because I am young but in 6 months they said they will step in and help if im not pregnant by then. I think they will just give me some more crap about eating and weight and exercise and fob us off again.. They dont take me seriously..
Another period, another month of calender charting, another month of ovulation tests and negative pregnancy tests. It taking all the love out of having a baby.. :/
