Trigeminal Neuralgia Support Group
Trigeminal neuralgia, or Tic Douloureux, is a neuropathic disorder of the trigeminal nerve that causes episodes of intense pain in the eyes, lips, nose, scalp, forehead, and jaw. Trigeminal neuralgia is considered by many to be among the most painful of conditions.

That normally happens to me when I lay down because my head feels like there is more pressure and I always have trouble sleeping. I have to sleep on my side due to a back injury so during the night I flip from side to side. It feels like there is more compression on my nerve when I sleep. I take Amtryptaline at bedtime for pain. I don't know if it will help, but it has helped me. Good Luck I hope you get some relief so you may sleep.
