I read in the book called "striking back" about the Myelin Sheath so I purchased all the vitamins needed but then some of the vitamins made me sick at my stomach so I gave it up. I was having a lot of TN flare ups and I do think taking the vitamin B12 shots and B12 tablets helped a lot. So my theory is if you can take the herbs why not give it a try.

Thanks for the information. If I order it I'll keep you posted on how it works for me. I want to try the upper cervical care mentioned by Chevy and I think it's best to be off my Rx when I do so. Not sure yet how I'm going to do that. I doubt that my new neurologist who I will be seeing on Sat. will want to help me try.

grace I just finally told my doc i was stopping all meds and she told me how to wean from them. Actually my neuro surgeon I had been seeing said it was best to wean off them before starting a new treatment so would know if its working or not but be careful and don't just stop their are severe side effects to doing this to some people. And no most doctors don't agree with upper cervicl care because it is so simple and think of all the money they are losing......I willl keep you posted on my progress but so far I am feeling lots better and have even been told my face is looking so much better doesn't seem to be drawn in as much on one side and I have to say I haven't been biting my jaw the last couple days which is something I constantly did to stop the pain.....

I'm glad to hear UCC is working for you. I definitely plan to try it, but will wait to speak to my new neurologist first on Sat.

One UCC chiro said it's best for me to be off the drug when he treats me. Another chiro who uses the "NUCCA Technique" said I could still be on the drug when getting his treatment. I plan to try the former chiro since the NUCCA chiro is too far away and not on my ins. plan.

By the way, there is another good discipline called the Alexander Technique. The AT teachers can be very expensive if you can find one, but there are plenty of books available and also Youtube videos. It's very interesting stuff.

Can you do me a favor? Can you ask your chiropractor if he is using the "NUCCA Technique"?

The NUCCA technique is supposed to be gentler for TN and I'm a little afraid of a regular UCC treatment upsetting the apple cart - if you know what I mean. The problem is, the NUCCA chiros are very scarce. I have been trying to find out if you are getting the "NUCCA technique.
