I've posted elsewhere, but I'm trying to avoid focusing on my hair. For example, eyebrows. I'm not looking at my eyebrows close enough to discern an individual hair. That's been helping me.
I understand that some people just pull random hair, and that won't help those people. I tend to focus on hairs I determine to be different in some way.
I'm also trying not to think about hair in any way. I tend to find myself analyzing hair, or rationalizing pulling it, or thinking about hair anatomy, or....... To the extent I can substitute something I find pleasant in my head, the less anxious I feel.
Don't get discouraged. Trich isn't the end of the world, just a pain. Take it a day at a time and appreciate each victory.
