Maybe it's better that since I was a teenager (and became better about hiding my trich) no one has mentioned it to me at all. I don't know if they think I just got over it or if they just don't want to bring it up... but at least I don't have to worry about what they'll say. Of course I DO worry about whether or not I'll be able to cover it up... I suppose if they saw a bald spot they might say something... especially my mom.
Anyway, sorry, I sort of started rambling there. But I hope your parents are accepting of you pulling or not. I wish others could understand that we're not pulling our hair out for kicks and giggles.
You might want o refer them to this forum, or the parental support forum if they have questions.
Being pull free for 27 days is a GREAT accomplishment!! Maybe your parents won't notice the thinner hair, if you've already had a bit of regrowth? We're often harder on our own appearances than others are, so it may not be as noticeable as you think? This is often the way it is for me.
Ok maybe this sounds like a tall order but please, at least walk away when they say something mean.
Congrats on your recent pull free time, and new hair cut. We know that's an amazing accomplishment.
Stronger, you have my utmost support. This is a hard road we travel, but thankfully we are not alone here. :)
