my motivation in helping me fight trich!

i thought I would just share this experience. Not that its something someone can necessarily replicate. To make a long story short, I dated this guy for about 3 months and fell head over heals for him. He was everything I ever wanted and we really clicked. He ended up breaking up with me a couple weeks ago, and despite the brevity of our relationship (it was also long distance, which made it even harder to consider it a "real" relationship) I was absolutely devastated. Do you ever just fall for someone instantaneously? I know it sounds silly but for the sake of my story just believe me that I really really fell hard for him.
Well, I was heartbroken, and one night after a while crying, I started getting my urge to pull. It was one of those "stubbly" eyebrow hairs that drive me NUTS. I am "Catholic" but by no means believe in everything the religion says, but have always felt a close relationship with God. Well I was devastated and the only thing I could think of was to ask God to please find a way to get the guy to reconsider and take me back. And I told him I would not pull out that stupid stubbly hair or any other hair if he would please help me. I really really don't believe God would grant me my request despite me making a "sacrifice", I just simply don't believe he works that way or a lot of people would have their prayers answered all the time. But I was feeling desparate and I figured it couldn't hurt to ask God for a favor. if it DID work, not only would I have my hott n sexy stud muffin back, lol..but my eyebrows and eyelashes too! and if it didn't work, i would STILL have my eyebrows n lashes back. so i figured it was a win-win, it's just that horrible horrible stressfull anxiety that i get when i can't pull a hair that makes it truly a sacrifice to me.
Well, despite my efforts, i eventually got so depressed that i stopped caring and gave in to that STUPID stubbly hair. and after i did it, I felt even more depressed because if i couldnt' keep a promise to God and i couldn't stop pulling for this person that i really care about, then there was no hope for me. But i kept saying in my head, maybe God will still be pleased if I can just get myself to overcome this, despite this minor setback. I have literally had NO eyebrows or eyelashes for about a year now. (before I just always had sparse hair, but it wasn't till this year i fully took ALL my eyebrows and eyelashes out)
well, i haven't gotten my guy back or anything, but my eyebrows ARE growing back and my eyelashes too. I would say i have about 50% of my hair back!!!!I Not to lie, i have given in a few times (always to those DAMN stubby hairs!) but instead of spending hours pulling, I pull the one and then immediately say not to do it again cuz i made a promise! I never felt so motivated to stop pulling with this minor chance that maybe I could get that stupid boy back, which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous and i recognize that, but if I can at least get my eyebrows and eyelashes back, then maybe i should thank him for breaking up with me!! HAHA! maybe it was the best thing he could have done for me :)
my other huge motivator, is one of my biggest fantasies is to make out with someone under a waterfall!! HAHA which i can't do as long as i have to paint my eyebrows on and wear false eyelashes! and i really hate avoiding going to the beach or pool with other people because i can't go in the water without my eyebrows wiping off or my false lashes falling out.
just wanted to share my story with someone...maybe it would help people if you can find your own motivation. apparently, i'm totally boy crazy so i'm gonna try to channel that energy into something useful ;)
