I wish my parents understood me, instead of blaming it all on me. Telling me I'm causing my dad's stress, and my family's stress. I've tried to stop, but my parents get so angry and then when it builds up I pull again.
I wish my parents held me and let me cry into their shoulder about it. I wish they heard me and how I felt, rather than judging me. I get that I look weird, but I don't want my parents to look at me like I'm ugly. I don't want them to keep saying 'You've been pulling your eyelashes again?' and saying 'You're going to look so ugly if you keep doing that'.
I'm not even sure if this will help, but I guess it's like a weird opening into a teen's mind.
If I were you, I would tell my kid how I felt, but ask how they felt. Just throw it all out in the open. I've always wanted to have an open conversation about it with my parents, but I feel like a freak when I try. They just stare at me when I cry, with disgust on their faces.
I want help from them. I want my parents to help me and tell me they love me.
Please seek help -you cannot help your daughter while battling these feelings on your own.
