I try and 'change up' my hair every few months because for some reason it helps a bit. But I'm a little frustrated with myself because the problem area changed and became larger lately due to various stress.
I'm thinking about going punk? you know the short short hair cuts on purpose? I'd have to probably see a stylist.... but it sounds like it could actually work. better then the weird mullet thing i have going on lately at least.

By all means I think experimenting with styles would be fun and creative! I saw a woman the other day at the farmers market with a punk style hairdo- she had shaved both sides- and had tattooed or airbrushed leopard spots. On the top and back she had colored weaved pieces of long and short braided bits through her remaining hair some had jewelry and others glass beads; it caught my eye as it glimmered in the sunlight.
More power to be yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. Confidence is key in recovery.
