Well, I do can worry at times about if my hair is thinner than what I have had earlier, but I haven't got any visble signs on my head as in my scalp head being seen. My head is still covered by hair, and even my husband tells me I am far from looking bald.
I do had one hairdresser asking me about my hair, and I told her that I have always had thin hair. She would respond like; "Oh really?!" This could make me feeling a bit worried, but I don't know if she meant it bad or not. Other hairdressers haven't said anything, and one even told me my hair looked fine. I do have had thin hair ever since from my childhood on, I remember clearly someone mentioning this during school some of the first days when we went to the swimmingpool.
I have to take my chances, though, especially if I want to start taking better care of my hair. And keeping my hair in this lenght will just make my struggle with touching it worse, so I just prefer getting a short haircut now.
What about you? What makes you think you might suffer from trich? Do you have any visible signs, e.t.c...? I understand you haven't told a lot of people about this. This far it is only my husband whom I have shared my concerns about maybe struggling with trich, as well as sharing about this on this site in this group for trich support. :-)
But I don't think there needs to be any trich illness to struggle with hair pulling, and I have been worried for many years already, but still it has been so hard to stop with it. And I don't want to end up regretting a lot until it has gotten a lot more worse.
