I saw "La Vie En Rose" in the theaters last night - absolutely INCREDIBLE story about Edith Piaf. Great movie about great personal challenges.

Funny thing was that by the time she was in her 30's she had no more eyebrows!! I wonder if she had trich? Does anyone know??

With a trich rate in the population of at least 2-3%, there must be some famous trichsters out there...

Hey there,
I am quite a fan of Piaf also! I saw the movie and cannot wait to get the DVD. I, too, noticed that she did not have any eyebrows, though I didn't think about Trich as a possible reason for the absence of them until you mentioned it.
I looked around on google for an answer as to if she had Trich of not, but wasn't able to find anything. Let me know if you're able to come up with an answer.

She had to. I’m watching it now, and after watching ‘A star is born’ where lady Gaga does super thin eyebrows it makes more sense. I’m sure it wasn’t talked about or treated back then but that’s the only explanation for having those eyebrows in the 40s.

That's an interesting observation. I searched online about this. I got to know that there are quite a few celebs who have trich. For example, Justin Timberlake, Megan Fox, Katy Perry, etc.
